Mario Ramos, Argentina glass artists living in Madrid since 2002.
His first memory of the material is lejando to 4 years he became fascinated with glass goldfish sold in a shop near his home, started collecting coins as the money had been looking for that treasure.
At 15 years and after much prodding, could find the workshop of a companion of his other passion, Kun Fu, who worked the glass with a blowtorch and then knew he wanted to learn to do those parts. At age 16 started as an apprentice and after 5 years of hard work put his own workshop.
currently resides in Madrid, there was improved with Torch Glass Blowing, Glass Blowing in Oven, Roll-Up (Blow thermo), Japanese Glass Beads, etc. He has taught courses and workshops in private companies in the Barcelona Centre of Glass in the Glass Museum of Alcorcon, and in my own workshop.
a month ago was in Corning, taking some courses with Lucio flamwork Bucacco and other renowned artists. This year improved by taking courses in Italy and give seminar in France.
