Lasisirkus


Lasisirkus is a workshop that produces blown glass in Finland, the Alma Jantunen and Johannes created Rantasalo in 1999.

Alma Jantunen: "Glass is a versatile material that can be worked hard, cold and hot.
I usually use simple shapes and test them in different colors, because they all have their own character."

Alma Jantunen (1974) has worked intensively with hot glass for ten years. Wetterhoff studied at the College of Craft and Design and became a glass artist in 1996. His works are characterized by brightly colored glass and have been exhibited in several exhibitions in Finland and abroad. Alma Jantunen Nuutajärvi works together with Johannes Lasisirkus Rantasalo in his workshop.

Rantasalo Johannes (1968) studied in Southwest Finland Institute for Arts, Crafts and Design, and in 1993 he continued his studies in glass design Wetterhoff College of Crafts and Design. At that time he gave his soul to the glass. After graduation in 1995, he worked as a blower glass for another company until 1999 when he founded his own workshop with Alma Jantunen Lasisirkus.
